Why Yoga Nidra For Anxiety?

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a deeply relaxing and meditative practice that has been found to be beneficial for reducing anxiety and stress. Here are some reasons why Yoga Nidra is considered helpful for anxiety:

  1. Relaxation Response: Yoga Nidra promotes the relaxation response in the body, which helps counteract the physiological effects of anxiety. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system, leading to a state of deep relaxation and calmness.
